Description:
Intro/ A packaging design project for an inclusive makeup line created for a Canadian client, focusing on providing products for all skin tones and types.
Problem/ The challenge was to design packaging that visually communicates the brand's commitment to diversity and inclusivity, while being aesthetically appealing and functional for a broad range of customers.
Process/ I began by analyzing the product range and the diverse audience it caters to. The packaging design focused on clean, modern aesthetics with a warm and neutral color palette, representing various skin tones. Materials were chosen to ensure a luxurious yet eco-friendly feel, while typography and design elements were kept minimalistic and elegant to emphasize the brand’s focus on inclusivity. Each product's packaging was designed to stand out, with clear labeling and attention to ease of use, making it accessible for all customers.
Result/ The result is a packaging design that is both visually stunning and highly inclusive. It effectively conveys the brand’s core message of diversity while appealing to a wide range of skin tones and types. This project played a key role in elevating the brand’s image, ensuring the makeup line stands out on shelves and connects emotionally with its target audience.
